Below you will see Van Gogh's "Starry Night" and a photograph of a night time cityscape. Obviously these two pictures are very different from each another for a number of reasons. Even if you don't think this particular way about Van Gogh's piece, I'd like you to write a 250-500 word persuasive response that argues for why his depiction of a night sky over a town is more captivating, beautiful, etc. than a more realistic depiction of the same thing. Be sure to explain why this style of painting is so impressive, and/or intereting, and/or beautiful.
