Last week we watched a clip from the CNN show, Fareed Zakaria: GPS. The host of the show also writes an editorial column for Newsweek. His most recent column is titled, What America Has Lost. Here he discusses his position that Americans and its governing body overreacted to the potential threat posed by Al-Qaeda after the 9/11 attacks. Obviously, not everyone agrees with this position.
After reading the article, please provide a 250-500 word response that voices your personal opinion on these statements. Are they valid? Can you understand why someone might feel this way?
